What makes Rabindranath Tagore famous!

Rabindranath Tagore was a legendary poet. Not only this, he was an incredible painter, patriotic, philosopher, writer, and, humanist. The boy was born on 7 May 1861 in a Bengali family. His mother’s name Sharda Devi and his father’s name was Devendranath Tagore. His father Debendranath Tagore, a leader of the Brahmo Samaj, which was a new religious sect in the 19th century and which attempted a revival of the monastic basis of Hinduism as laid down in the Upnishads.

Rabindranath Tagore was a great Bengali poet, painter, writer, composer, etc. He transformed Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
Rabindranath Tagore started writing at the age of 16. At the age of 20, Wrote a Dramatic story called Valmiki Pratibha. Most significant, Rabindranath Tagore focuses on emotion, not action. In 1890 he wrote another play Kama Visarjan. Visarjan is possibly Rabindranath Tagore’s best drama work.

1. Poet;
Rabindranath Tagore was a poet-philosopher who inspired a whole era through his writings. Rabindranath Tagore became a literary phenomenon and went on to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. Here are his five amazing poems, On The Hypocrisy Of Faith, On the Vulnerability at the Time of Death, On The Soul Of Countries and People, On missing A Dear One, and, On Longing.

2. Songwriter;
Songwriter; Rabindranath Tagore was surely not short on songs. The man admires the significance of writing an energetic 2230 songs. The popular name in usage is rabindrasangit, which implies Tagore’s songs. His songs certainly reflect Indian culture. His popular song Amar Shonar Bangla is the national anthem of Bangladesh. Overall, he wrote the national anthem of India Jana Gana Mana.

3. Painter:
Rabindranath Tagore also had terrific skills in drawing and painting. Possibly, Rabindranath Tagore was red-green color blind. Due to this, his artworks contain strange color themes. Paintings the painted faces speak of vast human familiarity and intrinsic human emotions. They speak of the different moods of that extent from mysterious brooding, dramatic and romanticism that indicates fear, amazement and melancholia. Moreover, every work of Rabindranath Tagore is praiseworthy, he has shown the Indian rituals in his work and has taken the step of bringing a wave of change. His favorite novel is Gora, The Post Master, Choker Bali, The Cabulliwalah, Atithi, Nastanirh (Broken Nest), Detective, Gaire Baire, Wafadar, Chuthi, etc.

5. Nobel prize winner:
When Tagore was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, he became the first non-European to win it. He was awarded the award after the publication of his notable collection of poems Geetanjali. Tagore was recognized, according to the Nobel committee’s statement, “because of his profoundly perceptive, fresh and elegant verse, by which, with consummate skill, he has made his poetic impression, communicated in his own English words, a part of the literature of the west.”
